Videographer Michael Babcock using a Sony PD-170 to document the air evacuation of wounded U.S. troops from Balad Iraq. Mike's equipment included with the camera is the BEC-DVCAM Bracket with two wireless receivers and a shotgun mic all mounted on the DVCAM Bracket. A BEC Light Post with a Lowell Camlink to mount the Anton Bauer light head on the hot shoe.
Mike says this configuration worked just great by keeping a hot mic on the reporter and a second mic on the subject.
And with a simple change of a mic cable he had the shotgun mic. All audio at hand all the time for the ever changing story.
